Choosing to improve your smile is exciting — but it can also feel uncertain. One of the most common questions patients ask before starting cosmetic or orthodontic treatment is simple:
Using advanced digital technology and artificial intelligence, we can show you a realistic preview of what your smile could look like before you commit to treatment.
A smile simulation is a digital preview of your potential new smile, created using advanced imaging technology and AI-assisted software.
By analyzing photos, scans, and your existing tooth structure, a smile simulation allows us to generate a visual representation of how your teeth may look after treatment — such as Invisalign, bonding, veneers, or other cosmetic procedures.
Rather than guessing or relying on imagination, you can see a projected outcome before treatment begins.
Smile simulations are not a guarantee of results, but they are a powerful planning and communication tool that helps align expectations between patient and dentist.
Many people delay cosmetic or orthodontic treatment because they feel unsure. They might wonder:
Smile simulations help remove much of that uncertainty. By showing you a visual preview, you can make decisions with clarity and confidence.
Feel more confident in your choice knowing what to expect before committing.
Understand what's achievable and set appropriate expectations for your results.
See different treatment options side by side to make informed comparisons.
Be actively involved in treatment planning with a shared visual understanding.
For many patients, seeing a potential outcome is the moment everything "clicks."
At Viva Dental Wellness, smile simulations are created using state-of-the-art digital technology combined with clinical expertise.
Technology alone isn't enough. Every simulation is reviewed in the context of your oral health, bite, facial structure, and long-term dental wellness.
Smile simulations are especially helpful for patients considering changes to the shape, alignment, spacing, or overall appearance of their teeth.
See how orthodontic treatment could align your teeth for a more uniform smile.
Visualize a more balanced and symmetrical smile line.
Preview how spacing between teeth can be eliminated.
See how refined edges can enhance your smile's appearance.
Visualize a more harmonious relationship between teeth and gums.
Preview a more even, brighter overall smile aesthetic.
Smile simulations are particularly powerful for patients considering Invisalign. Using digital planning and simulation tools, we can often estimate both what your smile may look like and approximately how long treatment may take.
This helps patients understand the journey, not just the destination.
For cosmetic treatments, small changes can make a big difference. Smile simulations help ensure that tooth shape, length, and proportions feel right before treatment begins.
Preview subtle corrections to chips, gaps, and uneven edges.
Visualize how custom veneers can transform your smile.
See how natural-looking restorations will blend in.
Preview comprehensive transformations before committing.
This reduces the risk of dissatisfaction and helps guide aesthetic decisions collaboratively. Instead of committing to treatment and hoping for the best, you can see a preview and ask questions like: "Can we adjust this? What if we change the shape slightly? Is there another option to consider?"
Smile simulations turn treatment planning into a conversation — not a one-way recommendation.
Your journey to visualizing your new smile is simple and collaborative.
We discuss what you like about your smile, what you'd like to improve, and any concerns or hesitations you have. This conversation guides the simulation process.
We gather photos and digital impressions. The technology analyzes tooth position, spacing, and proportions to generate a realistic preview.
You'll see a simulation of what your smile could look like. This is your opportunity to ask questions, explore alternatives, and understand what's possible.
Smile simulations are designed to be realistic and conservative, not exaggerated or misleading. While no simulation can guarantee an exact final result, they provide a strong visual reference that helps guide planning and expectations.
Our dentists use clinical judgment to ensure simulations reflect achievable outcomes.
You don't need to know exactly what treatment you want. Smile simulations are often used early in the decision process.
Want to see how clear aligners could straighten your teeth before committing.
Interested in veneers, bonding, or other aesthetic improvements.
Hesitant about committing to treatment without seeing potential results first.
Prefer seeing things visually rather than imagining outcomes.
Want to better understand what's realistic before making decisions.
Feel more comfortable with predictable, stress-free planning.
Dental decisions can feel overwhelming — especially if you've had past dental anxiety or disappointing experiences. Smile simulations help reduce stress by making the process more predictable, removing guesswork, and creating a shared vision between patient and dentist.
Many patients find that seeing a preview helps them feel more comfortable moving forward.
